E is for E-QUIZZES

Welcome to Yes, This Will Be On the Test.
Waving to visitors, new followers, and fellow A to Z participants. I’m sending virtual hugs to you all for taking a moment to stop by.

I’ll be sharing my “take-aways.” All those snigglets, golden nuggets, and lessons learned from other creative sources. Scroll down this link to find other A to Z participants.

I am addicted to the online quizzes that ask you a series of questions to figure out who you'd be in different stories/movies/tv shows etc.

If you want to play - I'm linking you up!

Here are a few of my results:

character are you?
Charming

What GAME OF THRONES house do you belong to?

What SHAKESPEARE character are you?

Beatrice from Much Ado About Nothing

What BIG BANG THEORY character are you most like?
Sheldon

The sites BUZZFEEDZIMBIO, and PLAYBUZZ are fun sources for quizzes.

So if you want to know which AVENGER or CHILDREN'S BOOK you are - join my obsession and dig into the quizzes.

TAKE AWAY:
The results of the quizzes always come with a character blurb. I cut and paste these into files as a collection of mini character analyses to shop from when I write.

Have you done any of these? Who are you?

  3. I've seen those all over the place. Even heard that it's a kind of data mining thing, but *shrugs* such goes the rumor mill. :)

  4. I've been many things, including Storm...I like them, they are addictive, I'm not allowed to play them anymore, much like the farmville stuff lol

  6. LOL. I've taken some of these, admittedly. Henry. Beatrice (Much Ado), and Thor. =) Put them all together and you get Hebator! Yups. That's me.

    1. If you're Henry, that makes me your grandfather.

  7. I've played a few of those. The most recent one was how long I'd survive the zombie apocalypse (6 months, though I think they were being over generous on that one). Another one asked which 80's movie character I'd be and it came up I was Sodapop from The Outsiders movie. I've done so many of them that I can't keep up. I don't always post my results but I will comment on other people's posts with my results so we can discuss them.

  8. I ended up with Hamlet (it kind of figures) and Rajesh (when I looked for the quiz myself, because your link didn't seem to have one).

I was also relieved that this was not actually The Test. (Or pop quiz.)

  9. Sorry, but haven't succumbed. Not yet. So stop with the temptation already.

  10. I like doing these quizzes (sometimes) but I don't usually like how insistent they are that I share them on social media. I know WHY they want me to, but I'm like 'meh'.

  11. I don't generally do these quizzes, though I think they're fun :) I love Beatrice from Much Ado--she's one of my favorite Shakespeare characters!!

  12. To those of you dabbling in the quizzes - thank you for validating my obsession.

To those of you who have successfully avoided them - congratulations on your strength and willpower!

  13. I love the e-quizzes. I am not sure what causes my addiction to them- but I pretty much take them all. I am The Wizard of Oz, Luna from Harry Potter, Rainbow Brite, a fairy... the list goes on! :) Nice to find someone else who likes them as much as I do. I will have to take the ones you listed- since I think they are all new to me.

  14. I've never done this before! My son did one to figure out with faction he'd belong to in Divergent. I forget what his results were.

  15. Oh my gosh you are doing the A-Z again!!! You are so brave! And I'm going to love it! I love your idea of saving the character blurbs from these quizzes. Will have to try this! dying to know which Shakespearean character I get.
