Enough With the Heat Already

Anyone else out there melting?

LESLIE'S TIPS FOR HOT WEATHER:

Run through the sprinklers.

See if you can really fry an egg on the sidewalk.

Wear that stupid hat you can't get away with any other time of the year. You know the one. It either involves seashells or feathers.

Feign heatstroke to avoid exercise.

Put flip-flops on the dog and/or cat.

Insist alcohol does not dehydrate you.

Break out an old friend from your past

It may have given us all concussions - but dang - we had fun!

Stay cool!

  5. Hope you're staying cool! Looks like you'll be having fun at least :) Things are beginning to cool down here already, which kind of sucks--I'm not ready for summer to be over!

  8. I always loved running through the sprinklers!

School was very hot the first two weeks of school (no ac). Finally on Friday it cooled off a bit and some of the oppressive humidity left. Looks like it is going to get back up to almost 90 midweek. My students are melting in the afternoon.

Thanks for the tips for staying cool!

  12. We hit a day that was about 105 last year and I tried to fry an egg in a black frying pan in the sun. Didn't work. I was so disappointed!

  13. Water Wiggle looks fun.

It's still hot where I am, but it's dropped by a few degrees. This is a relief.

  14. Hot? My house was 64 degrees all day because it was only that warm outside. I'm freezing!
